PRESENTATION COPY, inscribed to the publisher, "To Wm. Spottiswoode Esq with the Author's Compts". THE WORK IS VERY RARE, with only one record at auction (this copy), in 1988.

In the first issue the text ends at p.60 [H4] as here. A second issue was published three years later; it contained the remainder sheets and title-page of the original issue but added a two page appendix.
