Catalogue Note
A FINE COPY WITH GOOD ASSOCIATIONS, from the family library of the heroic Antarctic explorer Captain Lawrence Oates, and latterly the Arctic bibliographer Sydney Spence. According to the author many copies were destroyed during a fire at the publisher's warehouse.
