Catalogue Note

O.S. Nock's Steam Railways in Retrospect was published by A. & C. Black in 1966. It was illustrated by V. Welch. In his preface, Nock wrote "...in writing this book I have drawn upon my own experience as a traveller, engineer, and railway enthusiast extending now to more than fifty years..."
