Description

of rectangular form with indented corners, carved in low relief to the cover with three beribboned Buddhist emblems including a conch shell, a canopy (now missing), and the endless knot, the stone of a pale celadon tone

Condition

The central emblem (probably the canopy) is missing, with traces of glue around. There is a bruise to the top right corner of the cover. Minor nibbling along the rim. The stone is of a slightly more celadon tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
