- coral, ivory, porcelain, silver-gilt, metal, gold
comprising: a gilt-metal and enamel knife and fork, the handles enamelled in blue and white on a gilt ground in grotesque style, griffin head terminals, steel blade and two prongs ; two paper knives with carved coral handles and silver-gilt blades, the handles possibly Chinese, probably 18th century; a jewelled silver filigree and silver-gilt desk knife in cinquecento taste, Thurston Cook, London, 1841 ; two porcelain-handled knives, one with gilt-metal blade, the other with silver-gilt blade, maker's mark WN, London, 1838; and an ivory handle, carved with putti, mid 19th century
