Condition

The canvas has been lined. The condition is good overall, with no loss or damage. A discoloured and opaque varnish can be seen throughout. Ultra violet light shows retouching to the dark tones in the background and scattered flecks of retouching to the sitter's costume and hair, as well as minor flecks in the face. Offered in a carved wood frame.
