  • largest 13cm., 5in. diam.
comprising two French examples, gadrooned and with snake handles, inscribed rims 'Pierre Covrtillov,' probably Angers, and 'Estienne Vincen Deav,' marks unidentified, 18th century; a plain example François Hubert Martin, Paris, circa 1850; and a large example in French style, inset with a Louis XVI 1789 One Ecu coin, probably German circa 1900

Condition

Angers example apparently with 18th century Tours control marks. Angers was attached to the Jurisdiction of Tours in 1775. Angers example with dented rim, both 18th century examples with only partially distinct marks but generally in good condition, other two wine tasters in good condition
