Description

  • 29cm., 11 3/8 in. wide overall
the otherwise plain baluster body later engraved with the Crewe crest below a baron's coronet, straight turned-wood handle, and a fitting detachable cover, similarly engraved, maker's mark only of Edward Vincent of London, circa 1725, the underside of the saucepan with scratch weight: '22 12 with ye Cover'

Condition

marks and condition generally good but there is a slight dent in the body at the junction of the handle, the latter appears to have been detached and resoldered
