including a 'blackwork' embroidered floral panel, with repeat pattern incorporating birds, flowers and hearts, against white linen ground, English, 17th century (163 by 44cm), panel of saffron yellow floral brocade, French, 18th century (168 by 146cm), the lemon yellow floral damask shaped vestigial `hood' from an ecclesiastical cope, probably Italian, 18th century, a small silk applique floral panel, against a cream ground, Northern European, 18th century (106 by 65cm), an embroidered cream and black stole, with 'boteh motifs', possibly Turkish, early 19th century (237 by 46cm), an Ottoman silk embroidered floral linen textile fragment, 18th century (121 by 108cm), a navy blue felt circular table cloth embroidered with a white and green floral border surround and complementary sprigs, European, 20th century, together with a machine made cerise velvet panel with 'ikat' style border, Central Asia, late 19th century, possibly intended for a floorspread (342 by 164cm) (illustrated) 
together with an embroidered floral panel, English, first half 20th century (258 by 200cm), and a cerise palmette patterned voided velvet panel, European, 19th century (171 by 106cm); and a late 19th century machine made metal thread panel in Napoleon III style, with trellis work and flowers in cartouches, (178 by 175cm)

Condition

The illustrated pieces are in fair overall condition; some losses and snags. Generally dirty. The European silk brocade pieces have some losses and splits in places; commensurate with age and technique. Following pieces are not illustrated: An embroidered floral panel, worked in polychrome wool threads, with overall repeat pattern of flowers on a cream cotton ground, edged on four-sides with green & yellow banded fringing, lined with green/yellow basket weave pattern damask (258/ and 257 long by 200/ 198cm wide) - in fair condition. Ground dirty and would benefit from a clean to brighten it up. together with a cerise palmette patterned voided velvet panel, with yellow silk lining, 19th century (171 by 106cm); damaged, with losses and stains. and a late 19th century machine made metal thread panel, (178 by 175cm); damaged in centre due to folding in past, threads loose and exposed.
