Crewe House, London, Inventory, Vol. I, 1913, p.208, in the North Drawing Room; The white enamelled Bookcase with gilt mouldings and lettering, fitted 14 shelves; enclosed by 2 single glazed panelled doors and 1 pair of folding ditto in upper part, shelf beneath enclosed by glazed panelled folding doors and cupboards at ends. The top covered in amber velvet, locks and 4 keys. 7ft. wide. (Containing Books - locked up).
