- 70cm., 27 1/2in. over handles
pierced bead edged gallery, finely engraved and bright-cut surface and inscription between two crests and motto above and the crest and motto of the Borough of Crewe, stamped: '6008'

The inscription reads: 'Presented to The Rt. Hon. the Earl of Crewe on the occasion of his marriage with The Lady Margaret Primrose by some of his friends and neighbours in the Borough of Crewe as a slight token of their appreciation of the kindly and considerable interest which he has always shown in the Town and its People April 20th. 1899.'
