Description

finely painted in purpurmalerei with figures in landscapes, with gilt scroll borders to the rims, comprising a coffee pot and cover, a teapot, a milk jug and cover, a tea canister, a slop bowl, five tea cups and eight saucers, F marks in underglaze-blue

Condition

Two cups have a chip. All eight saucers are chipped. The tea caddy and teapot are lacking their covers. The milk jug handle and finial of the cover have been re-stuck. The coffee pot handle has a hairline crack. The slop bowl has been broken and repaired.
