painted in the manner of Johann Ehrenfried Stadler, with chinoiserie scenes of figures holding parasols and younger children holding fans, flanked by sprays of indianische-Blumen, the flat cover with an iron-red diaper band reserving polychrome flower heads, the moulded scroll spout and handle terminal picked out in iron-red, yellow and black, with a turned wood handle,

The base of the pot has been separated and repaired at some stage, along the slightly flared base line
