Description

  • 230cm. high, 242cm. wide, 52cm. deep; 7ft. 6¾in., 7ft. 11¼in., 1ft. 8½in.
the beaded and fluted cavetto cornice above two brass-grille doors, flanked by lower conforming cupboards, the moulded base with a fluted frieze and pull out baize lined writing slide and three short and four long banded drawers, the upper drawer inlaid with crossed palm boughs and flanked by brass-grille doors with patera inlaid spandrels, on four square tapering front legs inlaid with pendent husks

Condition

Losses to moulding and veneers. Formerly glazed upper section. Possibly incorporating 18th century elements. Writing surface with traces of mould. Feet with detached mouldings.
