boxwood and ebony strung, the serpentine top inlaid with scrolling neo-classical motifs, the glazed lid covering a velvet lined interior and the stamp of Edwards & Roberts, on tapering legs ending in brass ball feet and x-shaped stretchers united by a plinth, the underside with an ivorine plaque printed 'Edwards & Roberts / Wardour St. / 126 Piccadilly / 532 Oxford St. London' together with a Victorian gilt-gesso and beech tripod vitrine table on a shaped base and a further George II style vitrine box with bevelled glass lid, losses (3)

Losses throughout. Chips throughout. Gilt table with split to stem and losses to gesso throughout revealing beech core. gilt tgesso able: 76.5cm high, 48cm. wide, 42cm. deep. gilt gesso box: 8cm. high, 39cm. wide, 28cm. deep.
