of rectangular form, composed of ivory panels carved with foliate designs secured by metal mounts with pointed trefoil terminals, hinged lid with handle, opening to reveal a velvet-lined interior with inset mirror and a smaller loose mirror, two fitted glass perfume bottles and funnel, and miniature calendar featuring the twelve months and days with associated Saints' names

Condition

The ivory plaques in generally good condition, the interior worn and with missing sections and some restorations, as viewed.
