le couvercle en marbre orné de bronze doré repoussé du XVIIIe siècle avec une prise en forme de grenade, bordure à feuilles de chêne tressées; l'urne  reposant sur des pieds en griffe en bronze doré d'époque postérieure  ; (restaurations à l'albâtre)

Condition

Illustration is slightly too brown. The top is whiter and has some stains and dust. The body with horizontal cracks in the middle from each side of the patched restoration. The patched restoration is about 12 x 12 cm. As said in the Sale Room Notice, the central vase probably antique and later repolished and recarved. The 18th century gilt-bronze finial and cover rim with wear. The feet of later date, as the triangular marble base.
