Condition
The illustration is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable minor scratches and marks throughout due to age and use.
The moulding of the front rim of the lid has been cut and restored. This moulding is incomplete due probably to old woodworm.
Each moulding of the lateral rims is restored.
There is a loss on a corner of the lid.
Two feet are later.
A few traces of woodworm.
The velvet of the lid is probably later and rubbed.
