Condition
On the naked eye:
The painting appears in good condition. It has been correctly re lined. There is a restoration on the nose and a recess on the canvas on the upper right side.
Under UV light:
There is a light green uniform varnish partially removed on the figure. There are restorations on the background mostly on the upper left side. There is a linear horizontal restoration about 12 cm. (4 ¾ in.) on the middle of the hat. There are some slight restorations on the face, the neck and the fan.
In a beautiful old carved gilt wood frame.
