This crouching jaguar, a smaller version of the original model that was 30 centimetres high, represents an animal known to zoo keepers for its ferocity. Rembrandt Bugatti’s presence alone was able to calm the captive animal.

Le bronze a été nettoyé et la patine légèrement restaurée.
Petits éclats sur le socle.
Une restauration ancienne au revers du socle.

Réduction du modèle conçu initialement dans une hauteur de 30 centimètres, ce jaguar accroupi représente un animal connu des gardiens du zoo pour sa férocité. Seule la présence de Rembrandt Bugatti calmait l'animal captif.
