Catalogue Note

The designs that the Jumps produced continued the traditions of Vulliamy and also adopted those of A-L Breguet.  The overall design of the present piece is highly reminiscent of Breguet, with its slim case and engine-turned dial.  For a detailed history of Jump, see an article by Vaudrey Mercer in Antiquarian Horology, December 1983.
