Condition

The movement is running at the time of cataloguing. Damage to the edge at 10, hairline at 6. Case with light scuffs and a few scratches throughout.

Catalogue Note

The present lot is thought to be one of the two earliest watches known by Cole. The other, with number code sx and in a case with the same hallmark date as the present lot, resides in the British Museum.
