Bart and Lisa decide to send in their own script to Itchy & Scratchy after being disappointed by their recent episode. They are rejected by the head of Itchy & Scratchy International, and decide to resubmit their script under Grampa's name. Grampa is hired as a staff writer for Itchy & Scratchy, and Bart and Lisa continue to submit their scripts through him. For 'his' work, Grampa wins an award, and sees the show for the first time, and is horrified by the extreme violent nature of the show.
