Catalogue Note
The final episode of season four follows Krusty the Clown and his newest competition, "Gabbo," a ventriloquist dummy. Gabbo's show is set to air at the same time as The Krusty the Clown Show. Unfazed, Krusty laughs off Gabbo, but as the dummy gains popularity, Krusty's ratings fall eventually leading his show to be cancelled. Bart and Lisa offer to help Krusty gain his popularity back and enlist the help of Krusty's celebrity friends (Johnny Carson, Bette Midler, Hugh Hefner, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Luke Perry) to appear on Krusty's comeback special.
