Catalogue Note

In this season two episode, the prematurely bald Homer sees and advertisement for "Dimoxinil," hailed as a "miracle breakthrough" for hair loss. Because it is very expensive, Homer obtains the Dimoxinil through an under-the-table deal. Homer goes to work the next day with a full head of hair and is promoted to an executive position by Mr. Burns, who does not immediately recognize him. With his new position, Homer hires a male secretary, Karl (voiced by Harvey Fierstein), who motivates Homer to be the best that he can be. Smithers, jealous of Homer's newfound success, tries to find ways to get him fired.
