While there are many special effects scenes, they are intended to be relatively inexpensive stop motion and rear projection effects, which were traditionally used in low-budget movies. While there are some jokes based on the convention of these older techniques, the effects are not supposed to be funny because they are bad. It's supposed to look cool."; 359 pages total
