Simon teamed up with longtime cartoonist Ramona Fradon to develop the concept of the super hero “The Defender, Righter of Wrongs"; it appears that this comic was never published; 397 pieces total

Catalogue Note

Starting her career with DC Comics in 1950, Ramona Fradon was one of the first women to break into the comic art business. During the Silver Age and Bronze Age she worked on Brenda Starr, Aqualad, and Metamorpho, as well as Superman, Batman, Plastic Man, The Cat, and Fantastic 4. She has won the Will Eisner Lifetime Achievement Award and the Ink Pot award. She was inducted into the Women Cartoonist Hall of Fame in 1999 and the Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2006.
