Condition
Overall in very good condition. Franca created this shelf using a single piece of wood from a fallen pequi tree from the rainforest of the Bahia region. The design emphasizes and retains the natural fissures and separations inherent in the pequi wood. The surfaces with light surface dirt, some minor surface scratches and a few minor abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. With minor abrasions to the wood caused by the installation of the hanging hardware, which is not visible when the piece is installed. A great work of large scale displaying the artists superb use of natural material. ---
