Condition
This gelatin silver print, which appears to be on resin-coated paper, is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, faint silvering in the dark areas and a small sharp handling crease in the center portion of the image are visible. This crease does not break the emulsion. When examining the print in raking light, impressions from Newton's annotations on the reverse are visible; this does not detract from the overall fine appearance of this print.
