Description

  • Arthur Siegel
  • Untitled (Legs)
gelatin silver print, credited, initialed, and dated by Adam Siegel, the photographer's son, in pencil on the reverse, 1950s

Condition

This early gelatin silver print is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, a few thin linear impressions that do not break the emulsion are visible overall. There is some overall light soiling on the reverse. Also on the reverse, written in an unidentified hand in pencil are: '3353,' '200.496,' and 'ASE 3.' When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
