David Whitney, a friend of Claes Oldenburg as well as Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns and numerous other luminary artists in the second half of the 20th Century, was regarded as a discriminating collector whose ownership of a work underscored its importance.
Condition
The prints are in good condition, the full sheets with fresh colors. (The slipcase and portfolio box with minor surface soiling a wear.)
