Condition
Overall in very good condition. The surfaces present with light surface scratches, minor rubbing and discolorations to the patinated brass surfaces throughout consistent with the natural aging process of the material and gentle handling. The enameled brass surface of the top with some light surface soiling to the recessed contours consistent with age and gentle use, visible in the catalogue illustration.. The table top depicts a chinoiserie motif with street and domestic scenes and figures in an open-plan architectural space within a landscape. The decoration presents with beautifully subtle coloration. A wonderful small scale example of the form executed in great artistic detail. ---
