Condition

This early gelatin silver print is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, some scattered very soft handling creases that do not break the emulsion are visible. The left and right edges are slightly rippled. The margin edges and corners are bumped, with some losses to the top-paper ply. On the reverse, the following are annotated in an unidentified hand in pencil: 'SC' and '203/36.' Within the archive stamp, '47' is annotated in pencil. The reverse is lightly soiled with some yellow and green deposits of indeterminate nature.
