Condition
As visible in the catalogue photo, there is extensive encrustration to the exterior of the vessel. There is also significant bronze disease to the interior of the vessel, and to the left ring handle. This bronze disease is stable and has not spread in its published history. The vessel has not been x-rayed, but it is possible that one or more of the the three ram finials and feet have been stabilised.
