Condition

Table: This work is in very good condition overall. There is light scattered surface soiling noted, particularly in the recesses of the textured surfaces. There is light wear to the pigment at the edges and surfaces, with a few minor associated losses. There are some faint, unobtrusive accretions. Chair: This work is in good condition overall. There is light scattered surface soiling noted, particularly in the recesses of the textured surfaces. The application of the white pigment is thin in some areas on the underside of the chair revealing some of the substrate. There are scattered areas of craquelure throughout with some minor associated pigment losses. Some larger areas of cracking have been stabilized and restored. There are 2 horizontal cracks on the backside of the chair running the width of the sculpture, visible under close inspection, which have been conserved and stabilized.
