Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. The edges of the canvas are taped with white adhesive tape. There is pigment separation and craquelure noted, particularly in the red pigmented areas. There are some minor losses to the peaks of impasto, visible under close inspection. The surface has isolated areas of heavy impasto, whose weight has caused additional strain on the canvas in those areas, resulting in a slight undulation to the canvas. There is some light dust accumulation noted on the surface. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
