Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. The uneven surface texture is due to the artist's working method and the areas of heavy impasto are intact. There is hairline craquelure throughout, notably along the left edge and bottom right quadrant with associated pinpoint pigment losses. There is evidence of hairline cracks in the pigment at the bottom left corner, along the right edge and most noticeably at the top left edge of the canvas. There is light wear at the corners of the canvas. Framed.
