Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is strip lined on the reverse along the turning edges. The surface is clean and bright. There is craquelure throughout with areas of associated pigment loss particularly in the thicker impasto. The craquelure has been stabilized and consolidated. There are some areas of pigment loss in the figure in the foreground to the right of the composition. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there are a few minor areas that fluoresce. Framed.
