This work is in good condition overall. The top and bottom edges have been irregularly cut by the artist and are obscured by the top matte. There is an undulation to the sheet and rippling in the lower portion of the sheet, inherent to the artist’s working method and intent. There are two artist’s pinholes in the upper right corner. The sheet has yellowed slightly with age. There are several scattered minor tears along the edges and a 1½-inch repaired tear along the upper right edge. All surface inconsistencies, scattered media accretions, oil staining, abrasions and diagonal creases in the upper portion of the sheet appear inherent and intended by the artist. The sheet is hinged verso to the matte intermittently along the left, top and upper right edges. Framed under glass.
