Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling at the edges including hairline craquelure at the top and bottom pull margins. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. Under very close inspection there is an area of vertical hairline craquelure in the lower left corner, very minor and unobtrusive hairline cracks in the lower right quadrant and light and unobtrusive abrasions visible. Also under very close inspection, in the upper right there is a ½-inch area that appears to have been painted in a different texture. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there are a few pinpoint drip accretions in the ferry’s railing that fluoresce lightly, but do not appear to be the result of restoration. Framed.
