Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling along the edges with a few spots of paint loss along the edges, which are taped. There are noticeable vertical cracks throughout the surface due to the thick application of paint with one resultant area of loss in the white painted area at the bottom. In the center, the underlying paper undulates slightly and the areas of impasto appear stable. There is a light surface soiling throughout. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there are scattered spots that fluoresce darkly and appear to have benefited from restoration. Framed.
