Condition
This work is in very good and sound condition overall. There are areas of deep pitting, which appear to be inherent to the medium, most noticeable along the edges and corners. There is evidence of wear and handling to the outer edges of the bronze sculpture, which appears as minor loses to the surface patina. There are minor dust accretions to the sculpture's surface overall.

Catalogue Note
"The idea of beauty is ambiguous, a double-edged sword that can easily hurt you, causing pain and torture. My art is an example of this dichotomy: mesmerizing perfection attached to corrupted imperfection." Igor Mitoraj
