Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The envelope is affixed to the backing board at the four corners of its verso. There is a slight undulation in the envelope. There are signs of handling and wear along the edges of the envelope and minor unobtrusive creasing on the surface of the composition, noticeable near the corners. There is a half-inch tear on the reverse at the very bottom of the envelope's verso towards the lower right corner that is visible when unframed and unhinged, as well as a strip of tape that runs vertically down the right side of the composition; both of these elements are likely inherent to the medium and the artist's working method of using found material.
