Condition

This work is in good condition overall. Close inspection reveals evidence of light wear and handling around the edges. Very close inspection reveals some extremely faint burnishing on some of the protruding impasto and some extremely small and unobtrusive scattered paint losses. There is scattered craquelure throughout, inherent to the artistÂ’s working method and intent. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.

Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report.
