Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling along the edges including some areas of extremely faint hairline craquelure and a small stretcher bar indentation in the upper left corner. The edges of the canvas are taped, which is slightly loose along the edges and has some extremely small tears on the upper right side. Under very close inspection there are some extremely small media accretions scattered throughout, likely inherent to the artistÂ’s working method and from the time of execution, and some extremely faint, dark abrasion marks scattered in the upper left and right quadrants. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there is evidence of very light retouching to the black area on the left breast. Framed.
