Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The colors are bright and fresh. There is evidence of light wear and handling along the edges including some minor losses and dark abrasions at the corners, and intermittent areas of hairline craquelure at the pull margins. Under very close inspection there is an extremely faint abrasion visible 15 ¾ inches from the left edge and 5 inches from the lower edge. There is also a very small black media accretion visible 4½ inches from the left edge and 12 inches from the lower edge and a small purple media accretion 14 inches from the right edge and 1 inch from the lower edge, likely from the time of execution. There are two faint and unobtrusive graphite marks along the upper and lower turning edges of the canvas from the time of execution and are inherent to the artists working method. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.
