Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The edges of the canvas are taped. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. A light varnish has been applied to the canvas. There is evidence of light wear and handling along the edges including two minor abrasions at the lower corners where the frame meets the canvas. Under close inspection, a light drip accretion is visible along the top edge just right of center. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there are a few very minor spots along the edges and inside the tip of the pumpkin that fluoresce darkly and appear to have benefitted from light retouching. Framed under Plexiglas. Please note this work is accompanied by a registration card issued by the Yayoi Kusama Studio.
