Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The edges of the sheet are deckled. There is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artists working method. The margins have slightly discolored due to graphite smudges from the work at the time of execution. There is a small partial tear at the top edge approximately 2-inches from the right edge. There are two areas of light old adhesive residue in the upper margin and one in the lower margin. There are minor spot accretions scattered throughout and some black media accretions just below the black void area, all presumably inherent to the artistÂ’s working method. The sheet is hinged verso to the matte intermittently along the edges. Framed under glass.
