Condition

This work is in good and sound condition overall. All of the found elements are intact and the loose internal elements move freely. There is some evidence of light wear and handling to the exterior of the box and there are joint gaps at the corners of the box, all of which are likely original to the work and inherent to the nature of the found materials. Some of the blue and white sand has embedded into the adhesive in the interior of the box. There is some faint time staining and very minor foxing to the paper on the interior of the box. On the back of the box the covering paper has discolored and has losses at the edges.
