Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although it is a deeper and richer shade of red in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection in raking light reveals a few tiny and extremely unobtrusive surface scratches as well as evidence of very light tarnishing in isolated places. Further extremely close inspection reveals a tiny rub mark to the tip of the dog's ear.
